How the Dell Military Discount Works
Instead of having a program that stays with you long-term, Dell offers a limited-time coupon to service members. With it, eligible military members or veterans can save an additional 10 percent off PCs and electronics prices on the Dell website. The coupon does work with most other offers on the site, so you can combine it with a sale price on the site, for example, to obtain an even better deal. The coupon is only active for a specific time, so it’s a good idea to wait until you are ready to buy before requesting it. Some product limitations also apply, however, so read the fine print carefully. Dell monitors, for example, are excluded, as are all third-party electronics and accessories or refurbished items.
Who Qualifies for the Discount
Veterans and both active duty and retired military members are eligible for the Dell military discount.
How to Obtain the Discount
Active duty members can apply for the coupon using their .mil email address. Veterans can email the company directly at militarydiscount@dell.com or call 1-866-871-9875 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Standard Time to request a coupon.
