Once you’re happy with everything, tap Next (arrow) in the upper-right corner, which takes you to the caption and tagging page. This is where you can add a location. You can either choose one of the locations displayed in the list, which is generated by your device’s GPS, or you can start typing the name of a specific location in the search bar if you don’t see it in the list. If you don’t see a list of recommended nearby locations, tap the GPS arrow in the upper-left corner of the screen. This will make Instagram repopulate the list with location data for your area. You can choose to see either the Top or most Recent posts, so as more photos and videos are added, yours will move down the feed. Feeds for locations that get lots of visitors, like tourist attractions, tend to move pretty fast. You can disable the location tagging feature anytime by turning off location permissions for Instagram before you make a new post. Open Settings and select Instagram > Location, then choose Never to stop the app from using your location data.
