For iOS 14.6, one of the most notable updates is Apple Card Family support, which allows users to share their Apple Card with other family members, according to 9to5Mac. Additional new features include support for the Podcasts app, the ability to unlock your phone using Voice Control, and some minor improvements to Apple AirTags.  AirTags and Find My both now get a lost mode option, so you can add an email address in addition to your phone number for both accessories. AirTags also now will show the partial phone number of the owner when tapped with a capable device.  iOS 14.6 also addressed some bugs that some users were experiencing, such as reminders appearing as blank lines on your smartphone’s screen, call blocking not appearing in the phone Settings, reduced performance during startup, and more.  The macOS Big Sur 11.4 update allows for Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos and Lossless Audio capabilities launching to Apple Music next month. macOS Big Sur 11.4 also fixes some issues, such as bookmarks in Safari getting reordered and certain websites not displaying correctly after your Mac wakes from sleep.  Apple Watch users can upgrade to the watchOS 7.5 update for Apple Card Family support, subscription Podcast content, and new Pride faces to match Apple’s 2021 Pride bands.  Finally, the tvOS 14.6 provides bug fixes and improvements, as well as support for upcoming spatial and lossless audio formats.  Apple’s most recent significant update was iOS 14.5 last month. That update included many upgrades, including new Siri voices, the ability to unlock your iPhone with your Apple Watch, and a new App Tracking Transparency feature. That feature has been applauded by security experts, since it allows users to turn off/on the ability for apps to track in the background. According to a recent study from Flurry Analytics, 95% of iPhone users have turned on the new App Tracking Transparency feature since it was released in iOS 14.5. Apple iOS 15 is set to debut during Apple’s WWDC 2021 event June 7-11. While nothing is confirmed, rumors about what users can expect in iOS 15 include making widgets interactive, upgrades to notifications, an updated lock screen, and more.
