The Echo Show 15 features a 15.6" display and ships with all the hardware you’ll need to mount it on a wall, which is a first for these kinds of smart screens. The display can also sit on a countertop, though you’ll have to purchase stand accessories separately.  The 1080p screen can be mounted horizontally or vertically and boasts a front-facing camera with a physical shutter, side speakers, and a mute button for turning off the microphone.  For those worried about privacy, any information gleaned from the AZ2 chip’s facial recognition component is stored locally and not uploaded to the cloud.  Of course, you’ll get all of the Alexa-enabled bells and whistles here, including to-do lists, music streaming, instituting video calls, and more. The smart display also features something called Alexa Guard, a security feature that leverages the microphone to monitor for disturbances.
